Photo exhibition of TURKSOY participating countries opened in Ashgabat


A photo exhibition dedicated to the 30th anniversary of TURKSOY has opened at the Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat. The exposition, which included various photographic materials, is aimed at popularizing the historical and cultural heritage of the TURKSOY member countries in the international arena.
The Minister of Culture of Turkmenistan Atageldy Shamuradov addressed the audience with a welcoming speech, noting the developing cooperation between the participating countries of this organization, which has a positive impact on the dynamics of preserving and studying the cultural traditions of the Turkic peoples.
Secretary General TURKSOY Sultanbay Raev, in turn, stressed that the exhibition that opened will be another step towards the successful improvement of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the international organization headed by him. This goal will also be realized by the upcoming international forum in Ashgabat, held in the year of the 30th anniversary of TURKSOY.
During the event, the parties exchanged memorable gifts.
The exposition introduced the audience to the historical sights and cultural artifacts of the Turkic countries. National folklore, elements of folk and applied art, traditional clothing - all this is reflected in the exhibition functioning in the Museum of Fine Arts.
In parallel with the photo exhibition, the works of young Turkmen citizens who took part in the contest "The Turkic World through the eyes of young artists" were demonstrated.
