Turkmen citizens participate in the international forum "Children of the Commonwealth"
Turkmenistan is represented at the eighth international cultural and educational forum "Children of the Commonwealth", which takes place in the health camp "Semurg" of the Tashkent region.
This year's forum, organized with the support of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly, is held under the slogan "Children of the Commonwealth: the inextricable link of times and generations." It is also attended by about 800 schoolchildren aged 14-17 from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
Its goal is to provide a platform for the education of children and youth in the spirit of good neighborliness and cooperation.
"It is not for nothing that this year the motto of the forum is "The inextricable link of times and generations". After all, it is such young people who unite their peers, are the hope of our science, carry the ideas of enlightenment and goodness. A great future belongs to her," Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbayeva said, welcoming the participants.
According to the National News Agency of Uzbekistan, every day of the forum will be dedicated to the culture and history of a particular country. Sports competitions, creative seminars, quests, musical flash mobs will also be organized for children.
The participants visited the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan, got acquainted with the activities of the Senate, its composition and senators. They also had the opportunity to communicate with members of the Youth Parliament of the Republic.
