Kabul has agreed on a plan for the transit of oil and gas from Turkmenistan to Pakistan


The National Transit Committee of Afghanistan has agreed on a plan for the transportation of oil and gas from Turkmenistan to Pakistan. This happened after the Afghan Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced the need for additional opportunities to establish trade, Tolo news reports.
"This important event is aimed at stimulating economic growth and strengthening transit opportunities. The implementation of this project will facilitate the smooth flow of gas and oil from Central Asia to South Asia, which will lead to a significant increase in national income, and the country's transport sector will receive significant development," the office of the Afghan Ministry of Economy said in a statement.
Among other things, opportunities are opening up for Afghan traders who will be able to export fresh and dried berries and fruits.
