Preparation for the 28th international conference "Oil and gas of Turkmenistan - 2023" has started
Active preparations have begun in Ashgabat for the XXVIII international conference and exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan - 2023" (OGT-2023), which will be held on October 25-27 in the capital of Turkmenistan.
The organizers of the event are the State Concerns "Turkmengas", "Turkmennebit", the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, and the State Corporation "Turkmengeology" in partnership with the ES "Turkmen Forum" with the support of the British company GaffneyCline.
The purpose of the conference and exhibition is to strengthen the dialogue on promoting international cooperation and further sustainable development of the energy sector, reviewing the latest trends in the global energy system, expanding opportunities for attracting foreign direct investment in the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan.
Participation in and business meetings on the sidelines of the exhibition and conference will raise the level of awareness of potential partners about new investment projects in the fuel and energy complex of Turkmenistan, further stages of development of the giant Galkynysh field, construction of the TAPI gas pipeline, optimization of oil and gas production at mature fields, development of offshore deposits in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea, renewable energy, as well as environmental aspects in the extraction of hydrocarbon resources.
The organizers expect that the conference and exhibition will be attended by a record number of heads of leading international energy companies, international organizations and leading global financial institutions, who will share their experience and discuss regional and global trends that affect the development of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan.
Within the framework of the conference, meetings will be organized with the top management of the oil and gas, banking, chemical and energy sectors of Turkmenistan to further discuss investment opportunities. The conference will be held in both traditional and online formats. The organizers will provide visa support to all registered delegates.
