Turkish professor has published a book about Magtymguly in honor of the 300th anniversary of the great poet
In honor of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly, Professor from Turkey, Doctor of Philology Ahmet Buran has published a book "Sözi ganatlandyran şahyr - Magtymguly". The publication is also timed to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey.
The book consists of three sections, each of which is dedicated to the creative heritage of Magtymguly. It traces the poetic views of the great thinker, reveals the creative personality of the philosopher and the peculiarities of his artistic thinking.
The publication also introduces the reader to the influence of Pyragy’s work on the literature of the East, the sharpness of his creative writing through the prism of his poetic works.
In general, the new book by Ahmet Buran, released with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey, will be a useful guide for researchers of the life and work of Magtymguly Pyragy.
