UNDP organized climate information sessions in Dashoguz


The United Nations Development Program in Turkmenistan organized a series of information sessions on climate change in Dashoguz.
They are aimed at attracting the attention of representatives of the young population to the problem of climate change, land degradation issues.
The trainings were held on the basis of the American Corner of Dashoguz, the Merdem Yashlar Training Center and the Eco-Durmush public organization. They provided representatives of local youth actively engaged in volunteer activities with a platform for the exchange of experience and ideas.
The sessions are organized within the framework of the UNDP project "Conservation and sustainable management of land resources and ecosystems of high natural value in the Aral Sea basin for multiple benefits", which is implemented jointly with the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan.
