Bidding on SCRMET: cotton fiber was in demand on the foreign market
On Thursday, June 22, 2 deals totaling $70.4 thousand and 275 thousand Turkmen manats were concluded at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, ORIENT correspondent reports.
A businessman from the UAE purchased a total of 44 thousand kg of bleached cotton fiber for $70.4 thousand. The cost of each kilogram of products was estimated at $1.60.
In the domestic market, a local entrepreneur purchased 100 tons of wheat bran. 2,750 TMT were offered for each ton of products, and the total amount of the transaction was 275 thousand TMT.
