Turkmenistan aims to increase transit cargo transportation from China


Turkmenistan is interested in increasing transit cargo transportation from China using the possibilities of international transport and transit corridors. This was stated by Ambassador of Turkmenistan to China Parahat Durdyev during a business meeting on unlocking the transport and logistics potential of Turkmenistan. ORIENT was informed by Embassy of Turkmenistan in China.
The meeting was organized by Embassy of Turkmenistan in China organized with the support of the Chinese company "Huahe International Business Consultancy" in the office of the legal enterprise "Yinghe" in Beijing. It was attended by representatives of the Beijing office of the Transport and Logistics Center of Turkmenistan OJSC, transport and logistics enterprises of China, the China-SCO pilot zone and the State Administration of Railways of the People's Republic of China.
Representatives of the Transport and Logistics Center of Turkmenistan spoke about the possibilities of the International Sea Port of Turkmenbashi and air harbors in increasing multimodal transportation.
In turn, representatives of the Celestial Empire briefed their Turkmen colleagues on logistics solutions for the integration of digital technologies in the field of increasing cargo transportation. They also called for the establishment of multimodal transportation with Turkmenistan along the China-Turkmenistan-Europe route.
