The opening ceremony of the Week of Culture-2023 was held in Ashgabat
The opening ceremony of the Week of Culture-2023 took place in the capital's Palace of Mukam.
The festive event dedicated to the Day of Workers of Culture and Art, as well as poetry of Magtymguly Pyragy, is held in the country for the eleventh time.
An exhibition has been opened in the lobby of the Mukam Palace, the exhibits of which tell about the original traditions, the rich cultural heritage of the Turkmen people and their art.
Crafts, ceramics, sculpture, works of jewelers and works of masters are presented in all variety.
A big concert was held on the stage of the Mukam Palace, where Master of Arts and popular creative collectives of Turkmenistan performed.
The saturation of the rooms was emphasized by their scenic design with extensive use of modern technical means.
In the afternoon, the events in honor of the opening of the Week of Culture-2023 will continue at the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of the country. There will be a workshop of museum specialists "The importance of the possibilities of digital systems installed in the museum in the development of museum business" and methodological courses on the study of world experience in improving the restoration of museum values.
Various events will be held during the Week of Culture of Turkmenistan, including a scientific conference, concerts of Master of Art, screenings of feature films, various exhibitions and competitions.
