Herat company sets up production of 300 solar panels per day


A private company in the Afghan province of Herat produces almost 300 solar panels a day, each capable of providing up to 650 watts of electricity. It is reported by Ariana News.
According to representatives of the plant, the solar panel they produce competes with regional companies in terms of quality. According to them, more than 5 million dollars have been invested in this plant.
“The main goal is for us to create jobs, and the second goal is for these companies to start operations in a country where the needs of people are a priority for them,” Vahidullah Bromand, general manager on production of a solar panels said.
“The devices inside this factory do not exist even in our neighboring countries,” Ghulam Rasool Haidari, who is in charge of the company’s solar energy technical department said.
“As for the quality of the solar panels we produce, they are manufactured with a 25-year warranty in accordance with national and international standards,” he added.
Currently, there are more than two hundred factories operating in the industrial city of Herat.
