Kazakhstan and China will complete the construction of a cargo terminal by the end of this year


Kazakhstan and China have agreed to accelerate the construction of a Kazakh cargo terminal on the territory of the Xi'an dry port and put it into operation by the end of this year, Trend reports.
An agreement was reached between Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (Kazakhstan Railways), JSC Kedentransservice and the Chinese company Xi'an Free Trade Port Construction and Operation Co., Ltd.
According to the press service of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, during the meeting, issues of accelerating the development of design estimates and registration of a land plot for a cargo terminal in the dry port of Xi'an were also considered
Representatives of the Celestial Empire also expressed interest in the project to create a container hub in the port of Aktau. The delegates visited Altynkol terminals, Almaty and Aktau port, having studied the issues of potential participation in Kazakhstan Temir Zholy infrastructure projects.
