Private Uzbek airline launches flights to Moscow


The first private budget airline of Uzbekistan, Centrum Air, launched a flight program from Urgench to Moscow today, RIA Novosti reports.
Regular flights will be operated by Boeing 737-800 and Airbus A320 aircraft to Vnukovo Airport once a week. In the future, it is planned to increase the frequency of flights.
Flights from Termez will open from tomorrow (on Wednesdays) and from June 25 — from Bukhara on Sundays.
Centrum Air is the first private budget airline in Uzbekistan, which in January 2023 received permission to transport passengers. The airline is located at the Islam Karimov Airport in Tashkent.
Today, Centrum Air operates regular and charter flights to domestic (Fergana, Bukhara, Urgench and Termez) and foreign (UAE, Egypt, Tbilisi and Jeddah) destinations.
