The symposium of the Turkmen-American Association of Scientists was held at the University of Texas


The 17th symposium of the Turkmen-American Association of Scientists – TASA was held at the University of Texas USA, located in Austin. The meeting was attended by Turkmen scientists who are interning and working in the United States and other countries, as well as a representative of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the United States.

The Symposium is a unique platform that brings together professors, specialists, researchers, students, innovators and experts from different fields of knowledge to exchange views and ideas. During the event, community members made presentations about their scientific works on topical topics, including those from the fields of medicine, microbiology, Internet technologies, economic and social issues.

Within the framework of the event, the Consul of Turkmenistan in the USA held a meeting with compatriots, telling about modern transformations in the life of the country, the priorities of its foreign policy. The international initiatives of Turkmenistan put forward in the name of peace and security, well-being and prosperity of peoples were discussed with particular interest. In addition, consultations on consular issues were organized.

On the occasion of the TASA symposium, a reception was given - "Turkmen Evening", during which representatives of the Turkmen diaspora performed national songs. There were also songs, the words and music of which were composed by the national leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
