The delegation of Turkmenistan took part in the Dialogue of political parties "China — Central Asia"


From June 14 to 17, a joint delegation of representatives of parliamentary political parties from five Central Asian countries visited Anhui province in eastern China, where they held a number of official meetings with the leaders of the local committee of the Communist Party People's Republic of China and administrative bodies.
During the meetings, it was noted that the visit takes place a month after the first China-Central Asia summit held on May 18-19, where the heads of the six states reached an important consensus and opened a new era of cooperation. In this context, the party members discussed integration into the construction of the Belt and Road, the continuation of mutual visits at different levels, as well as further deepening cooperation in the field of industrial projects, cultural tourism, scientific and technical education, youth exchanges, etc.
The delegation included leaders of 26 political parties from five Central Asian countries, including the chairman of the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan Ata Serdarov.
During their stay in Anhui, a joint delegation of representatives of the parliamentary political parties of Central Asia visited the urban districts of Hefei and Bozhou, familiarized themselves with the practice of their development, scientific and technological innovations, new energy industry, rural revival and environmental construction.
The visit of representatives of parliamentary political parties of five countries of the region to China was undertaken to participate in the first meeting of the Dialogue of political Parties "China - Central Asia". It was held on June 12 in Beijing on the theme "Promoting the creation of a closer Sino-Central Asian community of Destiny: the responsibility of political parties."
In his speech, Liu Jianchao, Head of the International Relations Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, noted that the CPC provides the Central Asian countries with an important platform for deepening political trust, strengthening strategic alignment and boosting development.
Representatives of Central Asian political parties met with a member of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, head of the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee Li Shulei.
According to him, the CPC is ready to work with the parties of Central Asian countries to implement the important consensus reached by Chinese President Xi Jinping and the heads of Central Asian states, building deeper and stronger relations.
In addition, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the field of public administration, the development of party education and training of party personnel.
