Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedov expressed condolences to the President of Italy on the death of Silvio Berlusconi
Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedov expressed condolences to Italian President Sergio Mattarella on the passing of former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, TDH reports.
The national leader of the Turkmen people noted that Berlusconi was a prominent politician who made a significant contribution to the development of Italy and the strengthening of cooperation with Turkmenistan.
The head of the supreme representative body of the people's power addressed words of support and empathy to the family members of the deceased, as well as to the people of Italy.
Silvio Berlusconi died at the age of 86 in Milan. He headed the Italian government four times in different periods: 1994-1995, 2001-2006, 2008-2011 and 2013-2016.
