Representatives of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan held a meeting with the head of the German project "Trade Facilitation in Central Asia" Fesilitas Zik, during which steps to simplify trade procedures were discussed.

The project "Trade Facilitation in Central Asia" belongs to the German Society for International Cooperation, which, in turn, aims to build up the partnership of various countries with official Berlin, the website of the Turkmen customs reports.

The parties touched upon such important topics for regional trade as digitalization, simplification of operations, use of modern systems in road traffic, etc.

Also, against the background of the growth of Turkmenistan's trade with border states, actions were considered to provide preliminary information on cargo, as well as to solve relevant tasks in this area.
