Colorful Turkmen carpets, a new Lada Aura model, solar and nuclear power plants – the Eurasia – Our Home exhibition opened in Sochi
The exhibition "Eurasia is Our Home" has opened on the territory of the Sirius Science and Art Park in Sochi. It is timed to coincide with the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, which takes place on the federal territory from June 7 to 9. The delegations of the CIS and EAEU countries inspected the exposition, which occupies more than seven thousand square meters, Mir24 reports.
Turkmenistan impressed everyone with its colorful carpets, which are made by hand. The stand was decorated with silk, wool and other types of carpets and carpet products woven by Turkmen craftsmen. Its products were also presented by the Ministry of Industry and Building Materials of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Textile Industry, the State Concern "Turkmenkhimiya" and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the country.
Uzbekistan presented a solar power plant project. The Russian concern AvtoVAZ presented a new model of the Lada Aura car. The elongated version of the car may well be used for officials and may even compete with the "Aurus", experts said on the sidelines of the exhibition.
At the Rosatom State Corporation stand, the heads of delegations were told about the youngest and most efficient plant in the world – the joint Russian-Belarusian NPP project. At the moment, the first unit has already been put into operation, and the second is being tested.
Also, at the exhibition, the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography of the Russian Federation (Rosreestr) demonstrated a working prototype of the CIS spatial data infrastructure geoportal. It is expected to be launched in 2025. This is the first project that combines interstate spatial data of the Commonwealth countries on a single digital platform that is completely independent of the software of unfriendly countries.
In particular, demos of electronic services planned to be created on the geoportal are presented, which are aimed at solving specific life situations of citizens and businesses. We are talking about situations related to the search for an opportunity to get a higher education in the CIS countries or a job, with the selection of territory for interstate investment purposes, with the construction of tourist routes.
