The Russian dance ensemble "Ogonki" will perform at the folklore festival "Avaza-2023"


The Russian dance ensemble "Ogonki" named after Harry Polevoy will perform at the international folklore festival "Avaza-2023" in Turkmenistan, writes the portal "Evening Barnaul".
The festival will be held on the shore of the Caspian Sea in the National Tourist Zone "Avaza" from June 13 to 16. Folklore and dance groups from India, China, Romania, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Iran and other countries are also invited to take part in the event.
In addition to the performances of artists, an international scientific and practical conference "Traditions of folklore and folk dance" is planned to be held within the framework of the festival.
The ensemble "Ogonki" of the State Philharmonic of the Altai Territory intends to show its brightest numbers in Avaza — "Kolyvanskaya Naparochka", "Siberian Dance", "Sudarushka", etc.
