A week of Russian cinema and animation will be held in Ashgabat
On June 9, the grand opening of the Week of Russian Cinema and Animation will take place at the Ashgabat cinema in the capital. The first secretary of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Turkmenistan, Yulia Zaitseva, told the ORIENT correspondent about this.
For six days, residents and guests of the capital will have the opportunity to watch new works by Russian cinematographers, as well as the best animated films in the Ashgabat and Berkarar cinemas.
— Such films as Cheburashka, Magicians and others will be shown, that is, what has recently been released, - Yulia Zaitseva, first secretary of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Ashgabat, told ORIENT, - Besides, on June 12, we plan to organize a big event at the Ashgabat cinema for Russia Day, which includes not only a classic film screening, but also an interactive program that will interest both children and adults.
The Week of Russian Cinema and Animation, organized by the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Culture of the country, will last until June 14 inclusive.
It is also planned to hold a big concert on June 11, dedicated to the Day of Russia.
