The plan to train 100 thousand IT specialists in Kazakhstan is being successfully implemented — Tokayev


President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said that the republic is ready to train at least 100 thousand specialists in the field of information technology by 2025, Trend reports following the results of the CA—EU summit in Cholpan-Ata.
"In March of this year, Microsoft announced the opening of a Multi-regional hub in Kazakhstan, which will become a center for attracting advanced technologies. We have set a task to train at least 100 thousand highly qualified IT specialists by 2025," the President of Kazakhstan said.
In his speech, the Kazakh leader also invited European universities to participate in the process of digitalization of the country by opening their branches here, including on the basis of the Astana Hub technopark.
