The Week of Culture of the Turkic States will be held in Turkmenistan from June 24 to 29 with the participation of representatives from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and Uzbekistan, as well as the leadership of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) and its Secretariat.
This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Turkmen government Mahrijemal Mammedova during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on Friday, TDH reports.
Head of State Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to hold the event at a high organizational level, noting that Turkmenistan attaches great importance to cooperation in the field of culture, in particular with TURKSOY.
The Week of Culture of the Turkic states will be held in honor of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the organization.
