The Turkmen delegation participates in the meeting of the OIE in Paris
The 90th Annual General Session of the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) is taking place in Paris these days. The forum is attended by representatives of 182 member countries, as well as experts from international organizations. At the session Turkmenistan represents the leadership of the State Veterinary Service of the country.
The participants of the Paris meeting paid special attention to the protection of wild fauna on a global scale. Reports on the implementation of the 7th OIE Global Plan for 2022 were made by the Director General of the Organization, Monique Eloi, as well as the senior representatives of the OIE and FAO.
At the session, the experts also considered the topic of the epizootic situation among animal diseases in the world. In addition, administrative and technical resolutions were adopted during the meeting, according to a press release published on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
