Turkmen wrestlers went to an international tournament in Romania


Turkmen wrestlers of freestyle and Greco-Roman styles will take part in the international youth tournament Dumitru Pirvulescu & Vasile Iorga-2023, which will be held from May 25 to May 30 in Bucharest (Romania).
The composition of the Turkmen delegation for this tournament was formed by 19 people, including 14 athletes. In freestyle: Amir Humayun (in the weight category up to 57 kg), Nuryagdy Bayramdurdiyev (up to 61 kg), Islamgeldy Vepayev (up to 65 kg), Parakhat Atayev (up to 74 kg), Sultan Sanjar Begenchev (up to 79 kg), Orazmuhammed Hojalyev (up to 86 kg), Dayanchmukhammad Myatiev (up to 125 kg).
Five athletes will represent Turkmenistan in Greco-Roman wrestling matches: Abduali Rahimbayev (up to 55 kg), Kakabay Kakabayev (up to 67 kg), Serdar Meylisov (up to 77 kg), Yusup Belliev (up to 97 kg), Ibraim Belliev (up to 130 kg).
Lachyn Annamuradova (up to 50 kg) and Maysa Yusupjanova (up to 65 kg) will contest medals in women's wrestling.
Turkmen athletes will perform at the championship under the leadership of Batyr Orazgylyjov, Shageldy Annayev and Bayram Aliyev.
