The first open Cup of the Turkmenistan Curling Federation among mixed pairs born in 2008 and younger took place in Ashgabat at the ice arena of the Palace of Winter Sports.

The teams competed in the Olympic discipline "mixed pairs", which consisted of two players – a boy and a girl. The team's game was led by a skip, which with a brush and conditional signs indicates which throw needs to be made – in the direction, with what rotation and at what speed. If necessary, athletes can adjust the sliding distance and the trajectory of the stone by rubbing the ice with special brushes.

The participants alternately launched special stones made of granite on the ice in the direction of the target marked on the ice – "home".

The goal of the curling game is to place your team's stones closer to the center of the house. If one stone is closer to the center, then the team earns one point, if two stones, then two points, etc. The game lasts a certain number of ends (rounds). The winner is the team that earns more points for all the ends.

According to the results of the tournament , the winners were a couple. Emina Nurmuhammedova and Imran Kakayev. The duet of Ayjan Bekieva and Danatar Muhamov took the second place. The tandem of Leyli Jeparova and Oraz Jeparov closed the top three.
