The Youth Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan will give a Gala concert in Ashgabat

A unique Gala concert of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan will be held on May 27 in Ashgabat. The musical event, which will also be attended by a large children's choir, is dedicated to the Children's Protection Day and will be held in the Mukam Palace in the capital with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan.
Almost 200 young musicians came to Ashgabat from all over the country. They got into the project on a competitive basis. The national selection for the Youth Orchestra took place in regional, district and city music schools and colleges. The most talented of them – and these are almost 100 young performers - took places in the symphonic composition. In the children's choir, 300 vociferous "nightingales" will sing.
— For many of them, going on the big stage as part of the orchestra will be a debut and a great opportunity to prove themselves and declare themselves in a new capacity. They are at rehearsals every day and get acquainted with the inner life of the orchestra, gain musical skills and experience in order to get into the main composition of the State Orchestra in the future," Rasul Klychev, conductor of the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan and one of the authors of the project, told Orient.
Another co–author of the Youth Symphony Orchestra is Guvanch Saparaliev, conductor of the Mukam Palace Folk Orchestra. At the Gala concert, Maestro Klychev, who is currently engaged in the string group, and Saparaliev, who works with the brass composition, will stand alternately at the conductor's console.
The Youth Orchestra will perform works by Turkmen and foreign composers, as well as favorite musical compositions from the repertoire of the State Symphony Orchestra.
The program of the children's choir will be no less interesting. They will sing famous songs in different languages by Turkmen, Russian and foreign composers, as well as popular works from the collection of world cartoons and films – "Avatar", "Moana" and others. There will also be a cappella singing. The concert will feature young singers and dance groups from different regions of the country, who have also passed strict selection.
The project of the Youth Symphony Orchestra was first launched five years ago. This year, the collective was formed again on the basis of a unique national competition of classical music performers. Today, about 100 young talented musicians take part in the orchestra.
— Such musical projects are admired and loved by the audience. And they also allow you to transfer your knowledge and skills to young and gifted performers, in fact, this is how pedagogical immortality is created," Rasul Klychev said.
