The youth championship of the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) has started in Tajikistan

Tajikistan hosted the first round of the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) championship among youth national teams under 20.
In the first match , the national team of Turkmenistan lost to the team of Afghanistan with a score of 2:1. In a parallel meeting, Uzbek football players were stronger than rivals from Iran — 3:2.
According to the regulations, the championship will be held in one round. The winner of the championship will be determined by the highest number of points scored.
The next match of the Turkmen national team in the framework of the CAFA-2023 championship will be held with the team of Uzbekistan.
