In the coming days, a Children's health and rehabilitation center will open in the city of Arkadag, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said during the second meeting of the Council of Elders at the Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship.
The opening of the new center will significantly expand the scope of work to assist children in need of guardianship, the national leader of the Turkmen people said.
Targeted activities in this direction will only gain momentum. Both the state and the Foundation have enough funds for this, Chairman Halk Maslahaty stressed.
In addition, the meeting discussed the results of the work carried out by the Council members on the ground, preparations for upcoming events of national importance, in particular, for the celebrations on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence, as well as issues related to the start of the grain harvesting campaign, the situation in cities and villages, tasks for the future.
