Days of Culture of Turkmenistan opened in Romania
The Days of Culture of Turkmenistan opened in Bucharest, for which a large Turkmen delegation consisting of representatives of the Ministry of Culture and industry institutions, masters of arts, popular ensembles arrived in Romania.
The organizers of the creative action were the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Culture of Romania, as well as the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Romania.
The program of the Days of Culture to be held in Bucharest and Constanta includes an international conference, an exhibition, an evening of poetry, a screening of the Istärin film of the Oguzkhan Turkmenfilm Association dedicated to the life and work of Makhtumkuli.
Residents of Romania will also get acquainted with the national decorative, applied and artistic art, original Turkmen cuisine and traditional costumes, song and music creativity of the Turkmen people.
The current creative action is held within the framework of events dedicated to the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding philosopher and classical poet Magtymguly Pyragy.
