The heads of the regions reported to the President of Turkmenistan on agricultural work


Caring for cotton, preparing for the wheat harvest, cultivating other crops, harvesting silkworm cocoons, as well as the state of affairs on the main new buildings in the regions were the main topics of the working meeting held by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov with the heads of regional administrations on Monday.
This time, the traditional agenda of such meetings was supplemented by preparations for the "Last Call" ceremony organized on May 25, marking the end of the academic year in educational institutions.
The President of Turkmenistan listened to the reports of the heads of the regions and pointed out to everyone the priority tasks in the agro-industrial sphere, the implementation of the national Program of socio-economic development and the Rural program, within the framework of which comfortable housing is being built according to a modern model, social and industrial facilities, engineering and technical structures.
The Head of State also gave instructions to hold "last call" festive ceremonies on the ground, instructing the regional authorities to take control of these issues.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov also heard a report by Deputy Prime Minister Annageldi Yazmyradov on the overall picture of seasonal agricultural work in the country and focused his attention on the need to create conditions for high-productivity work of farmers – cotton growers and grain growers.
