A student from Turkmenistan became the winner of the Aviation Olympiad of schoolchildren


Kirill Sultanmuradov, a student of the 11th grade of the joint Turkmen-Russian secondary school named after A.S. Pushkin in Ashgabat, took third place at the Aviation Olympiad of schoolchildren of the 2022-2023 academic year. It was conducted by the Moscow Educational School with initial flight training with the assistance of the Federal Air Transport Agency.
Kirill Sultanmuradov was congratulated in absentia, and a diploma will be handed over to him in the near future.
According to the results of the aviation competition, Alexander Perfilov, a student of school No. 1358 in Moscow, became the best, and Nikolai Ovchinnikov from school No. 58 in the Russian city of Yaroslavl became the second.
Dmitry Yadrov, Deputy Head of the Federal Air Transport Agency, congratulated the winners and wished them further success. He noted that choosing one's professional path in civil aviation requires both deep knowledge and a responsible attitude and self-discipline from a person.
The Aviation Olympiad of schoolchildren is aimed at professional orientation of young people, popularization of the pilot profession, as well as improving the level of training of candidates entering civil aviation educational institutions. It was attended by boys and girls from 12 regions of Russia and abroad, who passed general education specialized disciplines and special aviation disciplines integrated with the subjects of the school curriculum. The physical fitness of the participants was tested separately.
