The heads of the chess federations of Turkmenistan and Russia discussed the promotion of school projects

On Wednesday, May 17, President of the Chess Federation of Turkmenistan Vepa Malikgulyeva met with President and Executive Director of the Russian Chess Federation Andrey Filatov and Alexander Tkachev.
The parties discussed issues of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two federations: in particular, they discussed the further promotion of the “Belaya Ladya” and “Chess to School” projects implemented by the ChFR with the support of the Timchenko Foundation.
Vepa Malikgulyev showed great interest in the exposition of the Chess Museum of the ChFR, a tour of which was given to him by director of the museum, candidate of historical sciences Dmitry Oleinikov, according to the website of the Russian Chess Federation.
