UNDP holds a competition in honor of the World Environment Day
In honor of the World Environment Protection Day, which is celebrated annually on June 5, UNDP in Turkmenistan launches the BeatPlasticPollution video contest.
The video contest will once again demonstrate the actions that everyone can and should take to combat plastic pollution. It will also draw public attention to issues related to the negative consequences of human influence on the environment, and will also contribute to the formation of good environmental habits in both adults and children.
Persons between the ages of 14 and 25 can take part in the competition. They should take a 1-minute video demonstrating their way of reducing the use of plastic or reusing plastic in everyday life and post it on their personal Instagram account. Works can also be shared by email undptm@gmail.com .
It is also important to prepare a description for the video that reveals its essence. Works are accepted until May 30.
The winners will be announced on June 5, World Environment Day. The five best videos will be published on the UNDP Turkmenistan Instagram page from May 31 to June 4. Two of the five selected videos will be declared the winners of the contest based on the highest number of likes.
