The expert spoke about Turkmenistan's contribution to the development of international constitutional law

When studying and comparing the Constitution of Turkmenistan with the constitutions of many countries of the world, it is safe to say that the Basic Law of the Turkmen state meets international standards on many issues, making an important contribution to the development of the theory and practice of constitutional law.
Murad Haitov, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer and Honorary Elder of Turkmenistan, writes about this in a comment for CentralAsia.news.
Such fundamental values as the rule of law, the division of power into legislative, executive and judicial branches, as well as the recognition of local self-government, enshrined in the Constitution of the country, define today the face of modern Turkmenistan as a worthy member of the world community, the expert believes.
"Modern Turkmenistan today is at the stage of formation of a new system of supreme state administration based on the principles of separation of powers and delegation of powers of the people to their representatives," the author writes.
Today, the Constitution of Turkmenistan reflects the prospects for further development of the country as an equal subject of the states of the world community and creates a single mechanism for interaction of all components of the state structure, government and people, Haitov sums up.
