OJSC "Demiryollary" and IBA Group agreed to work on projects in the railway sector
Representatives of the open joint stock company "Demiryollary" and the international holding IBA Group agreed to increase cooperation in the field of IT technologies and training of specialists. On the sidelines of the ITTC-2023 transport conference in Ashgabat, the parties signed a memorandum of cooperation.
During the negotiations of IBA Group with the leadership of the railway departments of Turkmenistan, it was stressed that the relevant institutions of the country are constantly working to improve the technical component of the national railway complex.
The Agency "Turkmendemiryollary" and the OJSC "Demiryollary" have the task to increase the volume of cargo transportation in the directions "North — South" and "East— West", as well as to maximize the transit potential of Turkmenistan. This requires the development of new and modernization of existing information systems.
Speaking about his work experience, Gennady Molchanov, Sales Director in Southeast Asia of IBA Group, noted that for 30 years the company has completed many projects on the development of information systems for railway administrations.
Recent cases include the implementation of an ERP system for JSC Georgian Railway, the development and launch of a contract and commercial work management system for JSC NC KTJ. This helped to form a profile expertise and accumulate significant experience in the field of digitalization of business processes.
During the meetings, the parties discussed the IBA Group's proposal to develop a "Concept of digitalization of cargo transportation management and financial and economic activities of OJSC "Demiryollary".
