The Armenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry highly appreciated the transport and logistics potential of Turkmenistan
The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Armenia Muhammetgeldi Ayazov met with the Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Armenia Andranik Aleksanyan, the website of the Turkmen MFA reports.
Aleksanyan noted the existence of a huge transport and transit potential of Turkmenistan and opportunities for its full implementation. He called for using the available reserves for Armenian trucks and asked the Turkmen side to assist in finding cargo carriers from Turkmenistan, business partners for direct cooperation.
Having informed the guest about Turkmenistan's international initiatives in the field of transport and logistics, Ayazov spoke about the international conference and exhibition "International Transport and Transit Corridors: Interconnectedness and Development - 2023" held in Ashgabat, which provided experts in the field of transport and logistics with a platform to discuss further interaction taking into account modern realities and trends.
The interlocutors expressed confidence that strengthening cooperation in the transport and transit sphere will contribute to the development of cooperation between the business circles of both countries.
