Turkmenistan invites experts to the forum on environmental aspects of hydrocarbon production
Preparation of an international scientific conference on "Environmental aspects of hydrocarbon resources extraction" has begun in Turkmenistan. The symposium is scheduled to be convened in mid-June, while the forum agenda is being worked out and presentation proposals are being accepted.
Representatives of international organizations, academic and diplomatic circles, environmentalists and investors, financiers and researchers, analysts and innovators are invited to the discussions.
The event is organized by the state concerns "Turkmengaz", "Turkmenneft", the state corporation "Turkmengeologiya" in partnership with the NGO "Turkmen Forum" and the British company GaffneyCline.
Last year, the next edition of the annual oil and gas forum of Turkmenistan – OGT 2022 – was published for the first time under the influence of green trends in the industry and in the world under the title "Environmental aspects of hydrocarbon resources extraction".
The green transition prevailed as a key concept of the new energy landscape during the recent international forum on attracting foreign investment in the energy sector of Turkmenistan, which was held on the road – in Dubai.
The conference "Environmental Aspects of Hydrocarbon Resource Extraction" promises to become an authoritative expert platform that will allow determining, based on the findings of scientific research and best practices, how the development of hydrocarbons can become a means of sustainable development.
