The EU Delegation held a sports festival in the Balkan region


The Representative Office of the European Union in Turkmenistan organized a sports festival on breaking, bouldering (a type of rock climbing) and table tennis in Balkanabad.
The event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the EU took place during the visit of the first adviser of the EU Delegation to Turkmenistan Renata Vrubel to the Balkan region.
The sports festival started with performances by young fans of breaking, who showed their body skills through complex acrobatic movements.
The atmosphere of a delightful drive unfolded on the parquet of the local sports complex, forcing the audience to marvel at every element performed by young dancers. It is appropriate to note here that it is the representatives of the Balkan breaking school who are the current national champions in this sport, included in the program of the upcoming Olympic Games-2024 in Paris.
The sports festival continued with table tennis competitions, bringing together players of various age categories.
The colorful sports event ended with bouldering, where participants were required to show dexterity, dexterity and agility.
At the end of the event, participants were presented with memorable gifts from the organizers.
During the visit to the Balkan region, the first Adviser of the EU Delegation to Turkmenistan Renata Vrubel held a meeting withlocal administration , visited the branch of the International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshigeldi Kakayev, handed over the training materials to the Human Rights Resource Center and spoke at the sports version of the "What? Where? When?" organized by the EU game representative office.
