UNICEF handed over container oxygen installations to Turkmenistan

The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Turkmenistan has handed over three container oxygen installations to the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of the country, according to a press release of the organization.
The installations are already being used at the Center for the Prevention and Treatment of Infectious Diseases of Turkmenistan and the International Center of Traumatology in Ashgabat. Work is also underway on their implementation in the Tejen City Hospital of the Ahal region.
The plant, known as the "Oxygen Plant in a Box", is an innovative solution and is designed for the production of large volumes of medical oxygen. It can be used within a few days after arrival at the institution.
The delivery includes the necessary equipment for installation, installation and maintenance services, as well as initial training of personnel to work with the "plant".
Access to oxygen can save lives in emergency situations, and is also an important treatment for children with pneumonia and other acute respiratory infections.
