The International Oil and Gas University celebrated the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly
An event dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great thinker and poet Magtymguly Pyragy was held at the Yagshigeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University.
The purpose of the action, prepared by the teachers of the Russian language of the higher educational institution, is to instill in the youth of different generations a love for the poetry of the great poet, to educate them in the spirit of unity and cohesion. In addition to students, the meeting was also attended by students of the capital's schools.
Presentations dedicated to the poet's life and work, collections of his poems were presented at the event. Students and teachers of the university read the works of Magtymguly with expression, performed theatrical skits dedicated to his life.
"Life itself proved the truthfulness of the bright ideas of Magtymguly, who dreamed of a powerful state. Everything that the great poet dreamed of has come true," Ogulniyaz Annataganova, a teacher of the Russian language at the university, shared at the creative meeting, noting that Pyragy's poetry meets the spiritual needs of not only the Turkmen people, but also of all mankind.
