Turkmen athletes will take part in the World Judo Championship, which will be held from May 7 to May 14 in Doha (Qatar).

Turkmenistan will be represented by eight athletes at this world championship. The composition of the men's national team was formed by: Aybek Omirov, Hakberdy Jumayev (weight category up to 60 kg), Serdar Rahimov, Hakim Agamammedov (up to 66 kg).

The women's team included: Aksoltan Hojageldyyeva (up to 48 kg), Sayara Rozyyeva (up to 52 kg), Maysa Pardayeva (up to 57 kg) and Zulhumar Dashkinova (up to 63 kg).

The Qatar World Championships will bring together over six hundred judoists (347 men and 319 women) from 99 countries who will contest medals and ranking points on the way to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris in seven men's and seven women's weight categories.
