The first container train on the ITC "North — South" left from the south of Russia


The first container train on the international transport corridor "North — South" departed from the Chelyabinsk-Gruzovoy station of the South Ural Railway (SUR).
31 platforms with containers will pass through the territory of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan to the port of Iran. Further, the cargo consisting of non-ferrous metals and food products will be sent by sea to India.
For the movement of a container train on the South Ural highway, a specialized schedule thread was developed, including accelerated cargo delivery within the framework of the "Scheduled Transportation" service on the territory of Russia.
