The decree expands the powers of the Rais of Tatarstan, allowing it to approve the system and structure of executive authorities. Previously, these duties were performed by the State Council of the Republic.
"To determine that the system of executive authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan includes the Head (Rais) of the Republic of Tatarstan, abbreviated name — Rais of the RT; the Cabinet of Ministers of the RT; Ministries of the RT, state committees of the RT; other executive authorities of the RT that are part of the structure of executive authorities," the document says.
