The city of Shusha, the cultural capital of Azerbaijan, will be the venue of the International Music Festival "Harybulbul". The organizer is the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Ministry of Culture. Festive events will begin on May 9, Sputnik reports. Azerbaijan.

In 2023, the city of Shusha was declared by the International Organization the Turkic Cultural Capital of the Turkic world. This time, the musical festival "Harybulbul" will also be attended by creative collectives of the countries belonging to TURKSOY and other peoples of the region.

The festival will last 3 days - concerts, exhibitions and various presentations will be held. The official opening of the event "Shusha - the cultural capital of the Turkic world 2023" will take place on May 12.

The first festival "Hari bulbul", named after the flower-symbol of the city of Shusha, was held in May 1989 and was timed to the 100th anniversary of the outstanding Azerbaijani singer-singer Seyid Shushinsky.
