Korean KOMEA intends to work with Turkmenistan in the field of shipbuilding and project implementation
The Korean Marine Equipment Association (KOMEA) is ready to become a technological partner of Turkmenistan for the development of the international transport corridor "North —South". Information about this was announced by a representative of the association at the conference "International Transport and Transit Corridors: interconnection and development — 2023".
KOMEA representatives also announced cooperation in the construction of a small vessel for the transportation of liquefied natural gas "Volgo-don max" with the latest marine solutions from Korean manufacturers.
At the same time, a proposal was made to connect Turkmenistan to ODA (Official Development Assistance), which involves the allocation of appropriate grants for the implementation of industrial projects.
South Korea is modernizing the Turkmen shipyard, is engaged in joint design of ships, transfer of ship repair technologies.
