"Music of Victory" invites Ashgabat residents and guests of the Turkmen capital to a festive concert


Traditional concert programs dedicated to Victory Day begin on the eve of May 9 in Ashgabat. The musical marathon will be opened by the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva - a festive performance "Music of Victory" will be held on Wednesday, May 3.
Famous Turkmen artists and young vocalists will perform legendary songs about the Great Patriotic War, which are loved and sung by millions of people: "Katyusha", "Smuglyanka", "May Waltz" and, of course, the lyrical composition "Cranes" to the verses of Rasul Gamzatov, which is always listened with bated breath. These songs were sung by soldiers in the trenches, as well as mothers, sisters and wives of soldiers who had gone to the front.
The evening will end, of course, with the cult song "Victory Day" by David Tukhmanov, which will be performed by Begench Gaipov. Atageldy Garyagdyev, Atajan Berdyev, Vladimir Mkrtumov, Bahar Durdiyeva, Dovran Shammyev, Mansur Sharipov and others will also take part in the concert.
Starting at 18:00, admission is free.
