In Dashoguz region, after reconstruction, the equestrian complex started working again
An equestrian complex has reopened in the Dashoguz region after reconstruction, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports. In honor of this event, celebrations and horse races were held on the territory of the complex.
The equestrian complex with an area of over 50 hectares has turned into a whole town of 38 objects for various purposes. They are equipped with everything necessary for the maintenance and conduct of equestrian competitions and horse races. So, four stables for 50 horses, an arena, a training ground, a swimming pool for bathing horses, a quarantine department and providing them with the necessary veterinary care, etc. have been built.
On the territory of the complex, designed for 3,000 seats, there is also a hall for celebrations, a parking lot, children's and sports grounds, a summer amphitheater and a conference hall.
As part of the reconstruction, the racetrack was rebuilt. So, it is compacted with several layers of crushed stone and washed sand. On top, the track is laid with high-tech and practical geotextile and quartz sand coating. The materials brought from the Akhal region will provide good cushioning of the soil, helping to soften the impact of hooves and reduce loads on the joints of the animal. This coating has durability and high surface tension strength.
It is noteworthy that the territory of the complex was also landscaped with various flowers, tree seedlings and shrubs.
