Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Belgium Sapar Palvanov met with the head of the European Protocol Department Pernilla Helin to present her credentials and discuss the upcoming meeting with the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.
Palvanov, being at the same time the head of the Turkmen mission to the EU, presented the chairman with the originals of credentials, which will be an important step in the formation of relations between Turkmenistan and the European Union, the country's embassy in Brussels reports.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the necessary preparations for the ceremony, as well as other protocol issues. In addition, the diplomats reviewed the prospects for future high-level visits between Brussels and Ashgabat, stressing the importance of maintaining an open dialogue.
