The Turkish Embassy celebrated the 31st anniversary of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Turkey

An event dedicated to the 31st anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Turkey was held at the Turkish Embassy in Ashgabat.
As part of the event, the new coat of arms of the embassy was presented to the audience.
"The coat of arms is decorated with 16 stars, symbolizing the 16 independent Turkish states that have existed throughout history. In fact, our emblem is identical with all other Turkish embassies located around the world, but perhaps it takes on a different meaning here, since many of these stars symbolize thousands of years of our common history with Turkmenistan," Turkish Ambassador to Turkmenistan Togan Oral said.
In addition, in his speech to the audience, the Ambassador said that since the establishment of the embassy, Turkey and Turkmenistan cherish exemplary relations based on historical, cultural, linguistic, religious and kinship ties between our fraternal peoples.
A photo exhibition dedicated to the 500th anniversary of the Turkish diplomatic service and dedicated to the 31st anniversary of the opening of the embassy in Ashgabat was also opened during the event.
It should be noted that the Turkish Embassy, which opened in the Turkmen capital on May 2, 1992, is the first embassy in independent Turkmenistan.
