The delegation of the Arab cycling team visited Turkmenistan
The delegation of the Arab cycling team "Al-Watba" (UAE) visited Turkmenistan, the newspaper Al-Ittihad reports. The visit was held at the invitation of the Cycling Federation of Turkmenistan with the assistance of the UAE Embassy in Ashgabat.
During the visit, the delegation of the Al-Watba cycling team met with the Chairman of the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan Gulmyrat Agamyradov. The sides discussed prospects for strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the field of sports. The meeting was attended by the UAE Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ahmed Alkhay Hamad Khamis Al-Hameli.
The delegation visited the Ashgabat Olympic Town, the cycling track, the National Museum of the Turkmen Carpet and the hippodrome.
In addition, the riders of the Al-Watba team held a series of training sessions in the suburbs of Ashgabat with the national road cycling team of Turkmenistan.
