Talented, sincere and no-words: young Turkmen musicians conquered with timeless classics

The Turkmen National Conservatory always delights listeners with its wonderful concerts. December Saturday evening was the continuation of the events, as the audience in the large hall was waiting for a “new meeting with the classics”. It was a title of the music program, which was performed by young teachers of the conservatory, known to the public as bright soloists.
Bahar Annadurdyeva, the pianist, laureate of international competitions, masterly performed a fairy tale of the East from The Balkhan Sketches collection by composer Mammed Guseynov. The composition has a bright sound palette and original oriental melody.
The Élégie for viola and piano by the Belgian composer Henry Vieuxtemps followed the program. It was very soulfully performed in duet with the favourite of the public Tahir Atayev. On stage, there was a keen understanding and interconnection of instrumentalists. Also, there was filigree performance of famous compositions by George Enescu, Johann Sebastian Bach, Henryk Wieniawski, distinguished by aesthetics, dramaturgy and lyricism.
The immortal The Autumn Song by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, performed by violinist Bahram Doliev was the main draw of the evening. During the musician’s performance, some of the listeners had tears flowing down their cheeks as the violin’s melody managed to touch the soul strings so deeply.
Here we would like to quote French writer Victor Hugo: “Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent.”
“When I play the violin, I completely come together with the power of music,” Bahram says. “Of course, it is impossible to give preference to one or another classical composer, as all they are worlds! However, the compositions of Johannes Brahms and Pablo de Sarasate are of special respect to me in the sense of rhythm.
The audience, who for a long time did not want to let the artists off the stage, received the talented playing of the piano, violin and viola with a bang. The public praised the musicians with flowers, storm of applause and the many-times Bravo praise.
